While the corona virus self quarantine has hit all of us around the country, including here at OHANA, we still see God working through this crisis. The Oregon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists has done a great job keeping all the pastors up to date on the latest regulations and pronouncements from the Governor.

As many of you are aware, several weeks ago we had to close our church to regular services. Since then we have had to go 100 percent on line. Surely the enemy applauded when this happened but little did he know that our great God had already made provision. Our live attendance generally runs about 120-150 during a typical church service. However, when we went to a straight live stream of the service we had nearly 700 people view the message. Our prayer meeting checked in at over 420 views our first week streaming including having"watch parties." One man in Eastern Oregon invited his friends to watch our prayer meeting. They all got together and did just that.

So in spite of all that is happening, or maybe because of it, more and more people are hearing our distinctive message. I praise God that He has foreseen this time in earth's history and has already made preparations for it. I am reminded of that famous verse in the bible talking about Joseph being sold into slavery and later becoming ruler of Egypt. If you recall, he told his brothers "you intended it for evil, but God intended it for good." If there is any good news to come out of this situation perhaps it is the fact that more and more people are hearing God's last invitation to mankind.
